What CultureCon Is
CultureCon is a guided, participatory experience that blends:
-
Shared nourishment
-
Facilitated dialogue
-
Collective reflection
-
Interactive equity exercises
-
Creative expression
Rather than sitting back and listening, participants are invited to actively engage, listen across differences, and learn alongside one another.
Who It’s For
CultureCon is designed for:
-
Community leaders & organizers
-
Advocacy and equity-centered organizations
-
Youth and elder leaders
-
Educators, creatives, and cultural workers
-
People committed to building community over advancing individual interests
You don’t need credentials.
You do need curiosity, openness, and care.
CultureCon is a Meeting of Minds.
An immersive, intergenerational unity experience designed for people committed to community development, equity, and shared growth.

CultureCon brings leaders, advocates, creatives, youth, and elders into one shared space, moving together through guided conversation, reflection, and creation as we explore a central question:
In a time of increasing disunity [intentional and unintentional splintering of communities, cultures, and Nations]— what are our strategies for Moving Forward Together?

Experience the Flow
Welcome & Brunch — Setting the Table
We begin by gathering around shared tables for a guided brunch experience.
Each table is centered around reflective themes such as:
-
Community
-
Power
-
Trust
-
Responsibility
-
Consciousness, Love, Unity, Community, Freedom
Participants engage with prompts and conversation cards designed to help set the table for the day’s journey.
Meeting of Minds — Community Reflection
Tables share insights back into the room, surfacing:
-
Shared hopes
-
Lived tensions
-
Questions that deserve deeper attention
This collective reflection grounds us in ACE’s Nourishment Cycle and frames the day around our guiding question:
How do we move forward together?
Community Unity Panel — Voices in Conversation
A facilitated, open dialogue with community advocates and leaders representing diverse lived experiences.
This is not a debate.
It is a community conversation focused on:
-
What communities need in order to build trust
-
How power shows up in everyday life
What unity looks like in practice
Musical Interlude
A brief musical moment to reset and transition — using sound as a bridge between reflection and action.
The Black Box Interactive — Equity in Action
A facilitated, scenario-based interactive experience where participants are placed in real-world leadership situations.
Working individually and in small groups, participants explore:
-
Decision-making with an equity lens
-
Responsibility to the whole
-
What it means to move forward together under constraint
This experience is designed to be practical, reflective, and applicable across personal, professional, and community contexts.
Exhale — Reflection & Connection
A pause to breathe, reset, and connect.
Includes:
-
Professional headshots
-
Light refreshments
-
Informal reflection moments
-
Short, guided conversations capturing participant insights
Between Me & You — Intergenerational Dialogue
In partnership with NCCJ
A facilitated conversation between youth and elders, centered on listening across generations.
Youth pose questions and share perspective.
Elders offer experience and reflection.
The goal is understanding — not correction.
Unity Creation Experience — Closing Session
Led by artist Kay Marion, this closing experience blends music, storytelling, and collaborative art-making.
Participants co-create a shared piece of art, passing it through multiple hands — each adding perspective and interpretation.
The experience invites reflection on:
-
Perspective
-
Influence
-
Shared ownership
-
How community is shaped by many hands
Why We Gather This Way
We believe:
-
Unity grows through proximity
-
Equity is practiced, not performed
-
Community is strengthened when we listen across difference
CultureCon isn’t about having the right answers.
It’s about learning how to ask better questions — together.
